V a c u u m M a t t r e s s: Designed for immobilization and transportation. The SELVADEK vacuum mattress provides effective immobilization for the safe and comfortable transport of an injured person by land, air and water. It is designed for rescue services, hospitals, military forces as it may have other wider applications. The product provides perfect insulation and protects against hypothermia. The vacuum mattress has features with a key advantage over conventional product, as by tacking out the air with a vacuum pump it takes the shape product, as by tacking out the air with a vacuum pump it takes the shape of the victim's body and ensures his stable immobilization. The SELVADEK vacuum mattress has a multi-chamber system which consists of compartments made of mesh polyester material filled with polystyrene beads. Allowing quick, easy and reliable fixation of the patient, the multi-chamber system ensures optimal immobilization of the body. The vacuum layer of the mattress is made of durable, fiber-reinforced polyurethane (TPU) material. The outer cover is made of CORDURA 500, a material providing additional protection and resistance. The cover has 8 comfortable handles for carrying the injured person as the fixation of the body on the mattress is done by 4 straps with adjustable buckles. The mattress is equipped with a vacuum valve that automatically closes once the air supply is interrupted. The product is stored in a special rucksack as vacuum pump and repair kit are provided in the product set. FREEDOM are extremely light and functional inflatable snowshoes designed to be always with you, when needed. They are much lighter and compact, ensure full contact with the terrain and, due to the ergonomic inflatable frame, they are much more flexible and floatable. SELVADEK inflatable snowshoes are an alternative to conventional snowshoes. The most optimal product is achieved with the following key characteristics: LIGHTNESS: weight of 1 pair of snowshoes - 1150 gr. DURABILITY: double-layer snowshoes - TPU blade as inner part & Cordura and abbrasive textile with TPU as outer part; COMPACTNESS: size of 1 pair of snowshoes when deflated - 20 cm/10 cm/4 cm FREEDOM guarantees a comfortable and safe experience even in the most demanding environment. The elliptical inflatable shell allows direct contact of the shoes with the terrain provides maximum stability and reduces the risk of injuries. FREEDOM provides great floatability and even weight distribution. The specific tubular section of the frame reduces the pressure and the incision in the snow. The traverse system consists of an open ellipse at the back which allows the inflatable frame to adapt to the slope for easier shoe traction uphill, excellent grip downhill and lateral control by punching the shoe in the field. The flexible frame follows the shape of the terrain, providing superb stability and complete safety in order to avoid sudden sliding. INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE 1.Take out the snowshoes from the bags. Unfold them. Take out the mini pump. Remove the valve cap, put the pump nozzle into the valve and then lift the pump’s thumb. 2. Pump the snowshoes until they take shape and become hard enough. There should be no wrinkles in the Cordura fabric. This process takes from 1,5 to 2,5 minutes per snowshoe, depending on the ace of the inflation. The maximum pressure you can use is 0,4 atmospheres. 3. When you finish inflating, unscrew and remove the pump. Screw back the valve caps well to avoid the risk of deflating when walking with the snowshoes. 4. Put on the snowshoes and tighten them up by pulling the front webbing. The valves have to be on the outside. 5. After use, deflate the snowshoes with the special Deflation cap from your set. You will recognize it by the holes on it. First, unscrew the cap from the valve and then screw the Deflation cap all the way down. The air will start coming out outomatically through the Deflation cap all the way down. The air will start coming out outomatically through the holes in the cap. Now you have your hands free to squeeze all the air from your snowshoes. Then unscrew the Deflation cap and screw back the metal valve cap. Fold the snowshoes in their compact mini bags. 6. Don’t forget that before storing the snowshoes in the bags, you have to dry them well. Caution: do not dry directly on or near a radiator or other heater as it may damage the snowshoes and lead to rupture. 7. You can use impregnating spray on the snowshoes. We advice you not to use the snowshoes with gaiters with metal lacing D-rings as they may damage them.
